Epicrates

1.1 Boa constrictor constrictor (Surinam)
1.2 Boa constrictor imperator (Sonora)
2.1 Boa constrictor imperator (Mexiko x Pastell)
1.1 Epicrates alvarezi
1.1 Epicrates cenchria cenchria
1.0 Morelia spilota harrissoni
0.1 Morelia spilota ssp. (harrissoni x mcdowelli)
0.1 Morelia spilota ssp. (variegata-Mix)
1.1 Lampropeltis alterna (blairi)
1.1 Lampropeltis pyromelana knoblochi
0.4 Pantherophis g. guttatus (Okeetee x Miami)
1.2 Pituophis melanoleucus lodingi
1.1 Sanzinia madagascariensis volontany

WEst Indian Epicrates photos

Very nice thread here.

I have some West Indian boas in the collection;
here are a few photos of some of them. Not all of my boas have been photographed yet-much too little time the last several years. Enjoy!
Does anyone have any Gracilis or any type of Tropidophis?
The exsul belong to an Epicrates expert/zoo guy (here in the US ) and are on loan to a friend of mine so I just included that for fun.but they are not mine. I wish.... :pillepalle:

Best regards,
Jeff

Wirklich Traumhafte Tiere!!!!!
Absolutly stunning snakes :)

Thank you Manni. Peter and I know each other-I hope to obtain Haetianus and Melanuras from him this fall if all goes well with his females. So far he has had very good luck with his breedings. :D

Best regards,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

thanks for showing us those stunning animals.
Your Puerto Ricans and fordiis are my favourites. To bad, that you american guys aren't allowed to export them (inornatus). ;(

Maybe some day, I will get those beauties in my "West Indian/ Carribean Collection".

Best regards, Patrick

:D Aber naja...

Patrick,
Thank you for the kind words.

Contact Peter Lund gade (his email address is in a post above). I think he is expecting some fordii and inornatus-he also keeps other WI boas as well. A very good guy...

Do you have true cookii/grenadensis?

Best regards,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

I will get in contact with him. But not this years, maybe next.
The good thing about the fordiis is the little amount of place you need, when keeping them. :D One corner in my room is still reserved for a pair/group.

Yeah, the C. cookii, true or not? ;)
"Manni" did a scalecount a while ago (he was the former owner of my pair) and the results match to HENDERSON.
Also the size and colouration would fit. Nevertheless there is no true proof, that the parents were caught on St. Vincent.
So, I would say they are true C. cookii.

I have no grenadensis, I even do not know if it is possible to get them here in Europe. There was a guy in Cologne, who had those beauties long, long time ago. But it is impossible to find any offspring from these animals.

Maybe you don't remember, but we had contact via Email last year. 8)

Best regards, patrick

Edit: Here are some links about them, I think it would be better to discuss the "Cookii-thing" there. ;)

There was a guy in Cologne, who had those beauties long, long time ago.
The keeper in Cologne was Karl Heinz Progscha.
